Milan recently hosted the 57th. edition of Salone de Mobile, the largest and most influential furniture fair in the world. With a serious minimalist stand designed by GamFratesi, DEDON explored the theme of ‘at home in nature’, as guests from all over the world arrived in Milan.

The DEDON booth provided the perfect setting for the launch of AIIR by GamFratesi, a contemporary indoor and outdoor chair design. The first collection to include an injection molded seat. The AIIR features tapered teak legs and a light and airy design marked by vertical slits on the backrest. Already shipping, AIIR will soon be available in leading furniture stores worldwide.

Visitors to the DEDON stand also enjoyed a preview of Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby’s modular BREA open lounge model. Extremely comfortable and infinitely adjustable, BREA has upholstered parts that look both solid and durable, but can be removed from the seat and backrest in an instant.

Another highlight of the DEDON booth was Sebastian Herkner’s award-winning MBRACE collection, which showcased two exciting new colors, Baltic and Sea Salt. The room also offered a preview of CIRQL, a new handcraft from the Werner Aisslinger collection. In addition to the appearance at the fair, CIRQL had its own exhibition space in the town of Via Durini.
