In the sea of furniture available on the market today, it is an advantage to be different and unique. The creators of the Moroso brand, which offers a variety of interesting and somewhat extravagant furniture in its range, were also guided by this idea.
“What makes each product high-quality and personalized is the care of craftsmen and tailors for every detail, the careful selection of materials and finishes, and a strong sense of aesthetics.”
MOROSO – DIESEL
Moroso can also boast of a large, successful collaboration with the famous brand Diesel, with whom he created a collection of products with a relaxing atmosphere, targeting an audience that loves simple shapes, but at the same time seeks a “modern” style composed of high-quality compounds with a recognizable design of clean lines.
“We worked with Diesel’s creative team to develop an interesting and alternative idea for the collection, which was supposed to represent two different but already existing aspects of certain contemporary trends: one with a darker tone, inspired by the underground world with a more aggressive and mysterious aesthetic, and the other lighter, inspired by nature and visual brilliance, soft and welcoming forms”, explained Patrizia Moroso, who always personally monitors all stages of every design project.
HISTORY OF THE MOROSO COMPANY
Moroso was founded way back in 1952. years. It was the idea of Agostino Moros, who with his wife Diana founded the company with the aim of producing sofas, armchairs and various home decorations. Appreciating the artisanal and experiential approach to furniture production and exceptional creativity in the creation phase, they built the foundations of a vision that enabled the company to grow and stand out on the market with product quality, innovation and creativity.
Through the creative input of designers such as: Ron Arad, Patricia Urquiola, Ross Lovegrove, Konstantin Grcic, Alfredo Häberli, Toshiyuki Kita, Marcel Wanders, Tokujin Yoshioka, Enrico Franzolini, Doshi & Levien, Tord Boontje, Nendo, Front and others, Moroso is created a collection of iconic designs over the years. All with a recognizable Moroso style, but each exudes the essence of different geographical latitudes and cultures.
